plato rosso
igt toscana rosso
As in other noble wine regions, the specification for the production area allows the Toscana Rosso (and Bianco) IGT appellation to be “non-vintage”, if referring to a blend of different vintages in a percentage higher than 15%. Hence the qualitative choice to make a fresh and pleasant wine, consistent over time, a wine that is always recognisable even in future harvests. The wine-making technique therefore envisages the use of the last vintage associated with reserves stored in the cellar.
